THE TENTH LEGION ~ Book 6
Synopsis
It's a new century but the crime rate rolls merrily along for lycan Lorna Winters.
Lorna Winters is the only werewolf on the Orlando, Florida Police Department but, unless you're looking for trouble, call her 'Lycan'. Her bosses consider her superior speed, strength, and senses useful.
New Years Day began just like any other. She kicked her friend with benefits, Jerry, out of bed and headed in to take the four am to one pm shift. In the second hour a street gang tried to hijack a city bus. There was a food stamp riot across town. Just before lunch she morphed into Lycan. She is the only werewolf on the Orlando, Florida Police Department but, unless you're looking for trouble, call her 'lycan'. Her bosses consider her superior speed, strength, and senses useful.

In the second hour there was a food stamp riot across town. Just before lunch she morphed into lycan to subdue a berserk junkie, and stood naked in the middle of the squad room upon her return to human form. Later, she discovered a new lead on a big cold case, but following it required help from vampire Ed White, CEO of Coven International, Inc. one of the two largest corporations in the world.
And the twenty-second century was only one day old.
Lorna Winter's life takes an abrupt turn when by accident her police work uncovers lost documents precious to the Whites, First Family of The Other Kind. Ed White kidnaps her in order to express his gratitude as well as that of grandparents Samantha and Jim White. As Lorna and Ed discover they have more in common than they ever imagined, their relationship grows. Together they face traitorous relatives, plague, and prophesies of Earthly destruction.
